To Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rotary in SA, clubs are erecting peace poles around the state.
21 September 2023 is the United Nations International Peace Day. Rotary Mawson Lakes will be recognising the day with a ceremony to dedicate a peace pole to the community of Mawson Lakes. The pole is located in Mobara Park which celebrates the sister city relationship with Mobara in Japan.
Rotary has as one its main objects the promotion of peace and conflict resolution. As a Club we are proud to be a part of the multicultural community of Mawson Lakes. What better place to celebrate peace and harmony amongst our neighbours.
